New details about St. Lucia’s Citizenship by Investment Program are starting to emerge. The Prime Minister of the Country spoke at Arton Capital’s Global Citizen conference recently, and a press release of the details is linked here.
Two qualifications intended to set the St. Lucian program apart from others in the Caribbean are (1) an initial limit of 500 passports being granted and (2) a minimum net worth requirement of US $3 million. The press release did not give details if the net worth requirement applied to the family unit applying for citizenship or to each applicant (for example, would the husband and the wife have to have a minimum net worth of $3 million?).
